2011 Drayton Fair
Class EE - Pickles & Preserves

All entries must have new snap caps and rings in sealed litre jars for fruit and pickles and pint (250ml) jars for jams and jellies. Only one jar per entry except where specified (Bernardin Gift Basket). Only one entry per class.
UNSEALED JARS, RUBBER RINGS WITH GLASS LIDS & WAX SEALS WILL NOT BE JUDGED.
Please no cloth covers on the jars. Entries must be in between 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm, Thursday or 8:30am - 11:00 am, Friday. Removal time 4:00 pm Friday, or when judging is complete.

24. CERTO Special: Best Jam or Jelly using CERTO. Must include & attach recipe and CERTO label as proof of use. Judged on appearance, taste and recipe creativity. 1st - $20.00 product coupon. 2nd - $10.00 product coupon
25 BERNARDIN Special: Gift Basket designed for a specific occasion, new baby, house warming, etc., to include a minimum of three labelled home-canned preserves in Bernardin Mason Jars and Snap Lids, along with other various items appropriate to the theme. Judged on creativity, perceived value and quality of preserves as well as presentation. 1st - $10.00.
Winner will be entered in the Bernardin National Gift Pack Competition which has a $100.00 grand prize as well as $25.00 for 2nd and 3rd places.
26. Bernardin Creative Craft Award: Best decorative or functional homemade craft made using BERNARDIN Mason Jars and / or SNAP Lid. e.g. snow globe, hide and seek, potpourri, candle. 1st- $10.00 gift certificate.
